Evangelist among pilgrims – Spain
Over 300,000 pilgrims walk the Camino (The Way) for about 2 weeks each year through Santiago de Compostela, claimed to be the burial site of St James. The vast majority walk it from April-October which is an ideal time to come and walk alongside them, sharing the gospel.
This is an opportunity to work alongside various types of mission work: teaching English, student work, working with children and prayer walking. After an orientation and initial training, walk the Way for several days or weeks while evangelising, and then share and be debriefed, and investigate further opportunities to serve here.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
Fitness to walk long distances, and some experience in sharing your faith easily and confidently. Spanish language would be ideal, but English speakers would also be welcome.
