What is World Adventurers Senegal?
World Adventurers is a flexible pack of teaching materials, activities and games to teach children about the country of Senegal, and the need for the people of Senegal to hear the good news of Jesus.
Each child becomes a World Adventurer and during the programme there will be an opportunity for the children to get involved and pray. When the programme is over there will be a variety of things to take away to remind the children of what they have learnt and to continue to remember the country of Senegal in their prayers.
Why be a World Adventurer?
The theme of mission runs right through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation yet it is often seen as an, ‘add on’, to the Christian life. This pack enables teachers to supplement their normal teaching programme, with an interesting, stimulating and challenging look at another part of God’s world.
Therefore World Adventurers is designed to meet a variety of situations:
—A mission Sunday or weekend at church
—Practical sessions at your summer camp
—Getting your children’s or youth group motivated into mission and christian service
—Widening the horizons of your young people
Each child becomes a World Adventurer ready to learn all about Senegal
