Children's and Youth Worker in Germany
WEC wishes to partner with a local church in Saxony by looking for someone to build up the ministry to children and young people.
As in many other parts of Eastern Germany, 40 years of communism and atheistic upbringing have left a deep impact on the spiritual state of these people.
In addition to this lack of faith there is a growing community of Muslim inhabitants including refugees coming into Germany.
The church want to develop and advance their present ministry through the influence of a cross-cultural youth worker, because they can see so much potential among the German children and youth.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
You have love for children and young people, and enjoy spending time with them.
It would be good, if you were quite fluent in German, since very few people in the region speak enough English to build relationships and interact in a more personal basis.
