Social Media Manager in Central Asia

Exciting opportunity for an experienced media professional to raise this NGO's profile and recruit workers for a strategic Central Asian develpment ministry, particularly on Facebook which is very popular here.

Work in consultation with directors, project managers and regional team leaders to: manage our web presence, social media strategy, media resources and recruitment materials. Provide press releases, annual reports and manage a budget.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

BA plus portfolio in publications and/or media production. Experience in creating range of media products. Creativity, good English, willingness to study local language, experience in website editing and promotions.

WEC is involved in serving communities throughout Central Asia. We are working in a variety of roles, alongside other Christian agencies, and with the local church where it exists.

Our desire is to see the peoples of this region come to faith in Jesus, gathered into communities of believers, and discipled so that they can disciple others.

WEC’s diverse ministry in Central Asia includes missional business, education, English teaching, medical care and development work.
