Mission Applicants Director for WEC Switzerland

Lead WEC's Candidate Committee responsible to interview, screen and prepare Swiss people applying to join WEC as long-term workers. Follow our established international criteria for processing applications, drawing on your own experience of cross-cultural ministry.

Liaise between the applicant and their potential ministry location leadership, and their home church's leadership, to establish a good relationship is established between all involved in their potential future ministry.

Organize orientation training and debriefing sessions for both long-term and short-term workers, recruiting lecturers, setting coursework, arranging rooms, and otherwise ensure the training runs smoothly.

Ensure good coaching and member care to our applicants through the orientation and preparation training.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

You long to see people well-prepared for cross-cultural work, and adequately oriented to make the best of any opportunity to fulfil their calling. Good communications skills (Level B2 or higher) in German and English. Ideal for a couple willing to work together.
