Music Instructor in East Asia
Take this opportunity to research and study of local instruments and musical systems.
Come and coach music students in piano, guitar, voice, and string instruments, with plenty of opportunity to develop applied ethnomusicology.
A typical week would include minimum of 10 hours of music coaching.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
You may be an undergrad in music and an interest in ethnomusicology, with teaching experience of young children, teens, or adults. Undergraduate degree is needed for visa.
Some fluency in Mandarin Chinese would be expected, but there would be an opportunity for further language study too.

About Arts in Mission
Arts Release is a group of creative arts specialists who love Jesus and people of other cultures. The team enjoys expressing God's love through various art forms. Some have professional arts training and others have picked up skills on the way.
Some team members are full-time, others part-time. They are currently based in England, France and Germany but they also travel extensively to work alongside WEC teams in other countries.
