Security Advisor and Trainer – Central Asia

Provide advice on security for a well-respected NGO involved in development. Gather, assess and analyse intelligence from a variety of sources.

Train local Security Managers/Trainers to advise, assist and train the NGO's staff, particularly those working in higher risk environments.

Maintain administration, procurement and inventories as appropriate.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

Relevant diploma or post-graduate training in security. Experience in stressful security situations and NGO security management. Advanced skills in IT and training.

Good documentation, writing and management skills. Fluent English, and willingness to learn and use the local language. Adequate cross-cultural communication skills.
