Tourism Consultant in East Asia

Come as a tourism consultant to help this community project in a remote mountain town to develop its tourist potential.

Design a training manual to instruct local hosts who will provide accommodation to foreign guests.

Help develop and advertise a variety of local sightseeing routes. You will stay in town, but travel out to small villages in the mountains.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

You have experience with organising tours and accommodation for groups of tourists. You are reasonably fit and enjoy travelling and hospitality with different cultures.

Mandarin Chinese (or perhaps Korean or Japanese) language is helpful, but not necessary.

The whole of Asia has developed rapidly over the last two decades, with huge political and economic development, along with rapid church growth.

All kinds of opportunities are opening up as ASEAN develops and Asia continues to change. God is clearly at work and WEC seeks to be in step with him, seeing the nations of East Asia reflecting God’s glory, his kingdom impacting each nation, and disciples of Jesus making more disciples.
