In 2018, Malcolm and his family moved from Thailand to Coventry with a passion for equipping the UK church to engage cross-culturally and inspiring a new generation to be authentic Kingdom ambassadors. He is the UK director of WEC, an international church-planting organisation with members engaging the peoples of the world who have the least accessibility to the Gospel. It’s all about crossing cultures to see God’s Kingdom established among every tribe, language and nation.
Malcolm’s parents were missionaries in Laos. He was born in Thailand and grew up in the Philippines. In 2001, he and his Swedish wife Kerstin joined WEC and headed for Thailand, involved in evangelism and church-planting among the rural Buddhist communities in Central Thailand. He later served as the WEC Thailand director for nine years, which included serving on the national board of the Evangelical Fellowship of Thailand.
