Team Treks take groups of up to ten people, led by experienced WEC workers. These missions last between two and four weeks, and are a great option if you only have a short time to spare.
Team Trek South Africa aims to share Christ’s love with underprivileged children. You will be part of the team of Africans and Europeans at Lighthouse Children’s Ministry, reaching out through practical work, school assemblies and clubs. Accommodation is simple and shared, on a farm that has been converted into a campsite.

You will:
- Co-ordinate children’s activities
- Prepare for clubs & assemblies
- Pray for the sick
- Visit townships
- Learn about local culture
- Lead Bible studies
- Do practical work
Timetable:
- Orientation at WEC – 26-29 July
- Travel to South Africa – 29 July
- Return to UK – 16-17 August
- Debrief at WEC – 18 August
Total costs excluding flights and a £50 non-refundable screening fee is £721.
