Artist on the Camino in Spain
Walking the 'Camino', which finishes in Santiago de Compostela in Galicia Spain, is considered one of the 3 major Christian pilgrimages in the world.
Some pilgrims are seeking the physical challenge, some want an opportunity to make international friends, while others wish to refresh their Catholic faith. But many have no specific religion or spirituality, but just want to meditate on the meaning of life, and many are open to hear the Gospel, some considering it for the first time.
Our Camino team offer an unusual out-of-the-box ministry, as they share life with those they meet along the way.
Come to hike the route alongside the pilgrims; come to serve the pilgrims through hospitality; come to reach out using whatever artistic talent you have to share your love for Jesus and the gospel; and come to mobilize Christians in the urban churches along the route.

About Arts in Mission
Arts Release is a group of creative arts specialists who love Jesus and people of other cultures. They are reaching the unreached, worshipping, discipling, training and mobilising through the God-given power of the arts, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The ArtsRelease teams (some full-time, some part-time) enjoy expressing God's love through various art forms. Some have professional arts training and others have picked up skills on the way.
WEC currently have teams based in England, France, Germany, Spain and Singapore. Our ArtsRelease team members sometimes travel to work alongside WEC teams in other countries, but also increasingly work collaboratively online, doing research, training, performance, and leading worship using various art forms.
About Spain
Spain is a country mostly located on the Iberian Peninsula in Europe. There are also two large archipelagoes, the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands off the African Atlantic coast.
The country's mainland is bordered to the south and east by the Mediterranean Sea except for a small land boundary with Gibraltar; to the north and northeast by France, Andorra, and the Bay of Biscay; and to the west and northwest by Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean.
Spain is the only European country to have a border with an African country (Morocco) and its African territory accounts for nearly 5% of its population, mostly in the Canary Islands, but also in Ceuta and Melilla.
With an area of 505,990 km2 (195,360 sq mi), Spain is the largest country in Southern Europe, the second largest country in Western Europe.
By population, Spain is the sixth largest in Europe. Spain's capital and largest city is Madrid. Other major urban areas include Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Bilbao and Málaga.
