Personnel Administrator in Vanuatu
You have a passion for cross-cultural mission want to see and assist those recruiting for mission across Melanesia.
You would be based in Port Vila, and provide member care, resourcing and encouragement for our Ni-Van Associate workers and mobilisers.
Serve as an administrative link between the Branch Office in Fiji and our staff in Vanuatu, and be under the leadership based in Suva.

You have a good understanding of our faith values and passion, and can quickly gain knowledge of our range of ministries around the world. You enjoy relating to and conversing with church leaders.
You are fluent in English. Some short-term cross-cultural experience with WEC and spiritual maturity are advantageous. This role would be ideally suited to a couple.

The Republic of Vanuatu is a Pacific island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean. The archipelago, which is of volcanic origin, is 1,750 kilometres east of Australia, southeast of the Solomon Islands, and west of Fiji.
Vanuatu was first inhabited by Melanesian people. The first Europeans arrived on the largest island in 1606.
According to the 2009 census, Vanuatu has a population of 243,304. The national language Bislama and other official languages are French and English.

WEC in the Pacific Islands
WEC are seeking to reach various immigrant communities with the Gospel across Fiji, Vanuatu and neighbouring islands, to pray them into the Kingdom through God's grace, and gather them into groups of believers in Christ. We are also mobilizing for cross-cultural missionary work around the world, from Fiji and other islands in the Pacific.
There are great opportunities for service in evangelism, teaching and practical work such as building projects. Both long-term and short-term workers (under 2 years) are also needed:
• Experienced English-speaking missions mobiliser
• Chinese church planters and disciplers
• English-speaking youth worker and lecturers
• Hindi evangelists and Bible teachers
• Full-time workers for immigrant groups.
