TEFL Teacher in East Asia

There are opportunities through our NGO in the capital to teach English language to children of all ages, and also help local English teachers to improve their English fluency and literacy.

This opportunity will open doors for you to visit local families connected with this and other development projects, and to share Jesus with them.

Teaching English is also a long-term visa opportunity in this country.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

You will need at least a TEFL or English teaching qualification, and heart for children. For a 1-3 month visit for a single person, accommodation will be in a guest house.

For a longer commitment or a family, an apartment can be rented.

About Teaching English

Fluency in English provides students with a vital skill. By teaching English you have a chance to build relationships with students, and can provide opportunities to share the gospel.

You can use your TEFL or TESOL training on a short-term mission experience with WEC. Have an opportunity to travel and experience a new culture.
