As Caterer at our busy headquarters in Eppstein you would lead the kitchen team, create menu plans, organise purchasing supplies and draw up budgets.

As Housekeeper you would take responsibility for the decor and cleanliness of our hospitality and residential areas. You will draw up duty rotas for each team of volunteers, and will plan and coordinate events, in consultation with leadership and other headquarters teams.

Some weekend working will be required. You will be expected to participate in communal activities like prayer.

Qualities & Gifts Sought

You are adequately fluent in German and English to take and give instructions in either language. You have experience and training in catering and the hospitality industry. You love creating a welcoming and peaceful environment for guests, to enhance the community atmosphere.

You are happy to work together and cooperate in teams, and are able to inspire others to give of their best, even in routine tasks. You are happy work flexible hours and patterns, and enjoy being challenged with whatever resources are available. You can think cross-departmentally, and love learning new ways of working and adapting to different appliances.

You are intrigued by people's testimonies of God's involvement in their lives, and comfortable sharing journey with God and praying for the work of WEC.
