Executive Director of NGO in Central Asia
This NGO has earned great respect through faithfully bringing development and medical services into very needy locations for decades. They are seeking an Executive Director to provide fresh vision, strategic direction, leadership and management to enable the organisation to fulfil their vision and goals, according to organisational values, and within their Board's Operating Parameters. You will be responsible to provide oversight in managing strategic planning, budgeting, finances, reporting, recruiting and publicity, and also to delegate those responsibilities as appropriate.
Qualities & Gifts Sought
You love Jesus deeply, and seek to model Christ-like servanthood, grace and compassion in relationships. You have experience of leading teams which are diverse, ensuring inclusivity. They will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English with an ability to communicate clearly and appropriately in cross-cultural contexts. You are a skilled leader with the ability both to delegate responsibility and provide oversight. You have the relevant qualifications to degree level as is required for national work permits, as well as some training in crisis management.

WEC is involved in serving communities throughout Central Asia.
We are working in a variety of roles, alongside other Christian agencies, and with the local church where it exists. Our desire is to see the peoples of this region come to faith in Jesus, gathered into communities of believers, and discipled so that they can disciple others.
WEC’s diverse ministry in Central Asia includes missional business, education, English teaching, medical care and development work.
