Arbroath prayer weekend away

Windmill Christian Centre Arbroath Scotland — 27-29 Mar 2020

A relaxing weekend with a difference in Arbroath Scotland

Be blessed by warm fellowship, challenged by needs and stirred to pray because of the amazing things God is doing around the world. Families and children welcome!

Arbroath is an ideal location for a weekend away, providing opportunities for refreshing seaside walks along the promenade and cliffs, as well as a charming town centre to explore. The cliffs, beach, shops and leisure facilities are all within walking distance. We look forward to your company, for what we trust will be a very enjoyable and profitable weekend together.

The programme will include Bible teaching and mission focused prayer, as well as a children's programme, crèche and a free time to relax.

  • Be refreshed by relevant Bible teaching.
  • Expand your horizons through interaction with missionaries and be inspired by their stories.
  • Explore the picturesque fishing port and nearby coast.
  • Join with others in prayer and expect to hear from God.
  • Take time to relax and enjoy good fellowship.

The Bible teaching will be given by Greig Ferguson. Greig is married to Jillian and they have three children. For the past three years he has been the Pastor of Yoker Evangelical Church in Glasgow, a church with a long history of involvement in WEC. Before moving to Yoker he studied at Oak Hill College for three years, and before that he was the Youth and Outreach Worker at Allander Evangelical Church in Milngavie, Glasgow.

Greig describes himself as an extravert who loves talking to people and finding out what makes them tick and he loves sport of any kind!

Greig loves God and his commission to his people to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. We very much look forward to hearing his messages.

Your hosts Douglas and Jeanette Craig, worked for 11 years as WEC missionaries in the Democratic Republic of Congo, then for 13 years as staff members at Cornerstone, WEC’s cross-cultural training centre, in Holland. Douglas and Jeanette have been based in Glasgow since 2008 and were WEC’s Regional Coordinators for Scotland until 2016.
