My Life Change

2nd Nov.   1 minute read

My focus is to see a church-planting movement start amongst the Wolof people of Senegal. This means working with local churches to help them catch a vision for reaching their communities, and to encourage them to think contextually about reaching Muslims. I also lead WEC's church planting team in the north of Senegal and support Senegal branch leaders.

WEC has given me freedom to use the gifts God has given me.

I’m very aware that we’re in a spiritual battle, which brings real challenges, but the work is making a difference: the local believers are gaining a vision for outreach to Muslims. It’s brilliant to see God fulfil the vision he gave me in unexpected ways.

One third of the world does not have access to the stories of Jesus. WEC’s aim is to work with God’s church to see worshipping communities established among these people groups.

Our teams live alongside local people, journeying with them and sharing the good news. Ultimately, their aim is to plant vibrant churches, empowering local Christians to lead and transform their communities.
