I've been in east Asia for six months and am currently studying the local language, full time. Studying a language can be difficult but I know my studies are getting me closer to being able to talk to people about Jesus.
I looked at a few other mission agencies but WEC’s family atmosphere made me feel I belonged even before I joined.
I’ve been with WEC officially for just over a year, but I’ve felt a part of the movement for a lot longer. The orientation was really helpful; being mentored, hearing stories of what God is doing around the world, and learning from people who’d been working abroad for years.
