For a while I had felt God was calling me into mission but I was not sure what that looked like. I found out about Mission & Me and it offered just what I was looking for, a weekend away to find out about what God is doing in the world and how I could serve him. There were group sessions, time for personal reflection and prayer, and chances for one-to-one conversations with WEC missionaries.
After Mission & Me, I spent two years studying at a WEC missionary training college in New Zealand. I then became a member of WEC and spent six months in The Gambia, before joining the WEC Short Term department.
